Woyzeck

by: Georg Büchner

adapted by Alex Demers and Isaac Bush

produced by The Circle Theatre of New York (CTNY)
at The Brooklyn Lyceum

direction: Isaac Bush

scenic design: Anne Allen Goelz

costume design: Holly Cain

lighting design: Sara Gosses

Re-imagined to fit within a former public bathhouse CTNY stages the story, originally found in shambles in the desk of the playwright, with the audience at the center of the expressionistic drama. Woyzeck’s growing suspicion and jealousy echoes a very real, intimate struggle as a result of his lifestyle as a soldier.
